The car runs better than it ever has. Dowdy's identified a situation with an engine mount, and now the car is very quiet. We've had other businesses look at it and say the noise was from the car's age. Obviously Dowdy's mechanics are better!

Dowdy's Meridian did an engine swap for me on a 2004 Tahoe that had 247K miles on it. They did a fantastic job. They were not the cheapest (nor the most expensive) of the bids I received from area auto shops but their consistently high customer satisfaction and their knowledgeable and communicative staff convinced that they would be in it with me for the long haul should issues arise. Once the Jasper remanufactured long block arrived Dowdy's turned the job around in less than a week. The vehicle runs and drives great. We couldn't be happier. Highly recommend Justin and the crew at Dowdy's.

This is a great shop. I appreciated their integrity and friendliness. They did an accesment first then scheduled the repairs. I was pleasantly surprised when the final repair was less than originally accessed. Very honest and dependable. I will definitely take my vehicles to them in the future. They will be checking on the original item that they though needed replaced to keep an eye on it. Thank you Justin for explaining everything clearly to me.
